As a nurse and midwife in the 60s, I loved talking to patients so when I started doing interviews for hopsital radio in the 80s and 90s and now 2007 for the website, I found I was able to use those skills. Some of the spoken interviews will be a blast from the past like Ian Rankin 1992 and Douglas Adams 1992 as well as our current ones from the past year.
I hope I'll be able to bring some well known names for you to listen to and find out how these authors, right at the very beginning of their careers were developing their book characters. For instance I met Ian Rankin as a 25 year old in the 90s when he was just beginning his Rebus stories, and in 2006 I was able to do a catchup with him and could see how Rebus had developed over the years.
I'll also be interviewing up and coming new authors , CJ Lines, Scott Lynch, Alis Hawkins, Alison Goodman and LC Tyler being just a few, and as many well known ones as possible such as Adele Parks, Jilly Cooper, Raymond E. Feist and Alison Weir!
