I have to say this book had me laughing out loud many times - I mean can you imagine a very whiffy Chihuahua cha cha-ing away at an Anton du Bark dancing contest!
The writing of Lyn McNicol and Laura Jackson is brilliant, inspirational, charming and just plain fun.
They tell a story of bullying in such a way that it encourages youngsters not to do it and to help people who are being bullied.
We have Badger doing his usual magical stuff including helping the very feisty Cheryl with a C get a partner for the contest. All good mayhem and chaos with Laura Jackson illustrations adding to the fun of the story.
I thoroughly enjoyed the adventures of Badger the Mystical Mutt and look forward to many more in the future and very much highly recommend this book for the under 10s - but parents please read this most enjoyable books too but be careful you may be persuaded to have a pile of buttered toast beside you!
