Bella secretly married her childhood sweetheart, Stevie, over a decade ago; they were at university, two big kids playing at being grownups. Review
This is the tale of three friends who's lives are very intertwined.
We meet Bella and husband Philip who have been married for 6 monthe, Laura a recent divorcee and son Eric and last but not least Amelie the widow with 2 young children. As friends they get together on a regular basis for meals and time out with each other to put the world and their lives to rights.
Each character takes it in turn to describe what is going on in their personal lives that I found confusing at times on disc 1. However by disc 2 I found myself laughing at the situation the women all found themselves in. The fun starts when Laura sees a busker in the tube station and thinks life is all about starting over again. Unfortunately the person she has fallen for is Steve an old friend of Bella's. But how can she keep hidden her past history with Steve from friend Laura and Phillip her husband. Shenaningans or what!!
I thoroughly enjoyed this audio cd and highly recommend it.
