Review

This was a strange one, not exactly a story book, more in the style of an amusing comic book.

The book is laid out as a calendar. January is called ‘The lonely rabbit' and has an invitation stuck on the page saying ‘Join me'. But he doesn't stay lonely for long as another rabbit joins him and then the rabbit population grows. May is entitled ‘The Hungry Rabbit' (complete with rabbit ration book). July is funny with a copy of the local rabbit newspaper. By November he has become ‘The overcrowded rabbit'. At the end of the book there is a massive rabbit pop up picture with loads of rabbits bursting out of the page.

It's an interesting book, would make a good stocking filler. Probably aimed at older children (8+) and especially if they like rabbits! It also has a hole punched through the book so presumably it could be hung up on the wall and turned over each month.
