Synopsis
'Twas the night (okay, more like the week) before Christmas and little Joshua Barker is in desperate need of a Christmas miracle. Josh is sure he saw Santa take a shovel to the head and now the seven-year-old has only one prayer: Please Santa, come back from the dead! But coming to Earth seeking a small child whose wish needs granting is none other than Archangel Raziel. Unfortunately, he's not sporting the brightest halo in the bunch and before you can say 'Kris Kringle,' he's botched his sacred mission and sent the residents of Pine Cove headlong into Christmas chaos, culminating in the most hilarious and horrifying holiday party the town has ever seen.
Review
The Stupidest Angel, with the picture of a christmas tree on the cover makes you think it would be about a child who just could not play the angel in a school show with out a great deal of tom foolery.
Well know that is not the way Christopher Moore, sets out to a heart-warming tale of Christmas terror. Christopher knows how to get you hooked and pull you into his books. This is one book I can remember reading just before Christmas and wow its a great story and the twists and turns till the conclusion keep you gripped until the very end.
I was not a fan of Christopher Moore but he has me hooked now and I intend to read any of his books I can get my hands on.
