Michael Connelly

Last time I saw Michael Brandon was in the TV series Dinotopia so it was a lovely surprise to hear how gravelly his voice was for his rendition of The Lincoln Lawyer. Infact it was brilliant - I was immediately drawn into the story and how was our hero Mickey Haller going to survive his latest case.

This is a great listen and although it is an abridged crime fiction it still lasts for 6hours and 35 minutes.

Michael Connelly is a a writer who keeps you gripped from the start to the finish of the discs, and he chose an award winning actor, Michael Brandon, who has a very animated voice which makes the story exciting the listener.

Michael Connelly is one of the most brilliant crime writers I know. His latest book The Brass Verdict, will have you guessing from the start until the outcome at the end.

Michael Connelly has done it again! This is a brilliant crime expose because he discusses a  number of different true crimes, which had me wanting more about each one.  Some of them would make a very good full story.  What about it?

The Lincoln Lawyer is the first book I have read by this author and at first I thought I might not enjoy it but gradually you find yourself thoroughly involved with the business of the lawyer, Mickey Haller who uses his Lincoln car as his office.

The story is set in Los Angeles and Mickey has taken on a new client, but this time it is a wealthy real estate dealer, Louis Ross Roulet, who has found himself in an embarrassing situation and is trying to extricate himself from it.
