Gothic Horror

Using the virus culled from mutating vampire bats, the military (American of course) create human vampires using death row criminals, I'm not quite sure why. Needless to say all does not go well and the virals escape, causing complete breakdown of society and resulting in the only chance of humankind's salvation resting with a young girl.

A rollercoaster ride of a novel successfully marrying Bram Stokers original manuscript with historical figures, such as Jack The Ripper and the infamous Countess Bathory. I don't usually read vampire books, especially all the modern urban fantasy ones, but 'Dracula: the Un-Dead' is very different - it is the official sequel to Bram Stoker's 'Dracula' the book that started it all - and written by his great grand nephew, Dacre Stoker with Ian Holt!
