Tony Robbins has coached and inspired more than 50 million people from over 100 countries. More than 4 million people have attended his live events. Oprah Winfrey calls him super-human. Now for the first time – in his first book in two decades – he’s turned to the topic that vexes us all: How to secure financial freedom for ourselves and our families.
What do you think of when you hear the word “money”? Like religion, sex or politics, few topics elicit such strong emotions as that word. It can make people feel guilty when they have it – or ashamed when they don’t. It’s intensely personal and highly charged.
Money has the power to create or the power to destroy. It can be a blessing that turns your dreams into reality or a burden that you’re always carrying. One thing is for sure: you must master money, or it will master you.
I am reading it takes you through the detailed steps. Excellent. Identified my weakness on money savings and work on behaviours to improve on the savings part. Save to spend vs Spend and save later‑NO MONEY.
Absolutely grateful that this book exists. Knowledge as contained in this book has a value much beyond what is being charged to us for the book…..Tony is a world‑changer, and this book is a living testament to that.
Tony Robbins is truly inspirational. This book is more than just about money, but about the secret to wealth and gratitude.
I’m about half way in and I’m already taking away suggestions. The examples and stories get a little long, but the advice seems solid at this point in the book. I haven’t applied anything yet however.

This book focused on personal development as a manager in the areas of managing people, leadership, achieving high performance, communication, presentations, and negotiations. Delivery of content included visual statistics and short quick reads of info.
Very good collection of practices to follow. The book is organized in parts with different aspects for each part. You can read it page by page or just the parts that interest you most. It is very easy to get a summery for each part.
The Essential Managers Handbook seeks to cover any topic that may be remotely related to a managers role. Unfortunately, the result of this broad scope is a watered down reference book which may be useful to leaf on rare occasion. Additionally, the visuals which consist mainly of some colored boxes and arrows dont add much value.

Don’t be misled: This is a serious business book with not only a visual appeal, but plenty of substance, if carefully hidden. Not only would this make a good beginner’s book for anyone just starting out in business (a college graduate), but it’s also a good basic text for home investors, who are trying to understand a Profit and Loss statement or how IPOs come into being.

Totally recommended as quick introduction for a dummy to the whole business process.

Schweser’s notes are organized and more exam-oriented. It puts the right amount of emphasis on all the topics. Schweser’s notes are very concise and get straight to the point. There are chapter summaries provided at the end of the chapter which is helpful during recaps. The Practise Exams by Schweser are blessings in disguise and make a candidate used to an exam-like environment.
I would recommend buying the actual FRM books AND Bionic Turtle w/ the Excel spreadsheets. There is much covered in the actual books that you will find clarifying to the BT notes. And BT is really just that…they are NOTES. The spreadsheets are good to practice with and you end up getting a better feel for the many difficult topics that need more explanation beyond the formulas; they provide a working “picture” that you can play with until it becomes clear. I did just the BT my first time through 🙁 and greatly benefited from my second approach (Books AND BT spreadsheets vs. my first time through with just BT…wasn’t enough for me.) Hope it helps…and GOOD LUCK! It’s a challenge.
What would you choose. Nike or something who is trying to be Nike but isn’t. It is just about choosing the right brand. Schweser is by far the best source of study material out there. BT is nothing compared to what schweser provdes. Yes they provide videos but I would really hate paying $250 or more for just pdfs. I would rather choose buying hard copies of schweser. Schweser is a more finished and detailed product with million of trustees. The content is by far the best and the question quality is amazing as well. There is a reason why Schweser runs on everyone’s tongue if one say FRM or CFA.
In my opinion, Schweser is better. I studied from schweser for both the levels with some help from BT and I found schweser a little better. Scheweser is more organized and more exam oriented. It puts right amount of emphasis on all the topics, not more, not less. In case of some topics BT goes way too deep, which is good for the knowledge and understanding, but wont help you much from the exam point of view.

ITIL Practitioner is best practice guidance I use both in implementation as a consultant and in training people working in IT service management.
Before the arrival of ITIL® Practitioner there was, in my opinion, a large gap between ITIL Foundation and ITIL Expert. However, with the introduction of ITIL Practitioner there is now highly practical guidance for how to use ITIL in a given organizational context.
But how does that work?
The beauty of the guidance is that it’s principles-based, meaning that ITIL Practitioner is about delivering value. Having the 9 Guiding Principles and the three core competencies ensures that the fundamentals of the guidance are very strong, providing a solid foundation for using ITIL to support IT implementations within organizations.
This guidance is the essential reference text which accompanies the ITIL Practitioner qualification. Fully integrated with the ITIL Practitioner syllabus, this publication is also a practical guide that helps IT service management (ITSM) professionals turn ITIL theory into practice through case studies, worksheets, templates and scenarios.

How many pizzas are delivered in Manhattan? How do you design an alarm clock for the blind? What is your favorite piece of software and why? How would you launch a video rental service in India? This book will teach you how to answer these questions and more. Cracking the PM Interview is a comprehensive book about landing a product management role in a startup or bigger tech company. Learn how the ambiguously-named “PM” (product manager / program manager) role varies across companies, what experience you need, how to make your existing experience translate, what a great PM resume and cover letter look like, and finally, how to master the interview: estimation questions, behavioral questions, case questions, product questions, technical questions, and the super important “pitch.”
Having just added the title of “Product Manager” at my current employer, I needed to know what I didn’t know. This book did a fine job of starting that process, but ultimately left me wanting.
To be serious though: my interviewing process was in some ways very similar to what was described here, some aspects exactly the same. But in other ways, it wasn’t. Then again, I’m not in the US and I wasn’t applying to Amazon/Facebook/Google. So the book will probably be even more accurate for people who do that.
Required reading for prepping for PM interviews. Delivers on what it promises. But it perhaps underemphasizes that there are many other good ways to skin the cat. In addition to this book, I recommend also reading “Decode and Conquer”, which will give you more example answers and offer different solid approaches/ways to think about the interview questions asked.
